I have been a School Counselor since 2004 and am originally from Oil City, Pennsylvania. One of my favorite things about being an elementary school counselor is the ability to make a meaningful and lasting impact on students' lives. Since students spend the majority of their school careers in elementary buildings, we set the stage for all of the school counselors after us. Being a trusted adult who students can turn to during difficult (...or even happy) times is both a privilege and a responsibility. In my free time, I like to read, try new recipes, visit local coffee shops, and scrapbook.
