Silvia Thorpe

I was born in Brazil and first came to America as an exchange student in High School. Later I attended the University of Sao Paulo where I got a BS in Education and a Master's degree in Linguistics and Portuguese Language. After college I came back to the US for a visit and met my husband in California. We got married and moved to Texas. We have two kids and enjoy traveling, camping, and hiking in our National Parks. I taught ESL for 14 years before getting my librarian's certificate. I've been at Dooley since 2009 and love to share my love of reading with our Dragons. Happy Reading!
