Hello, I'm Mrs. Browne, your Librarian, and I am excited to be a Dooley Dragon! I am from Greenville, Texas, and I always knew that I wanted to become an educator! After several years as an elementary classroom teacher, I received my Master of Library Science Degree from Georgia State University. This year is my fourteenth year as a librarian, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE when students get a renewed JOY for reading - whether through new interest in reading, improved reading skills, or by discovering a new genre or a new book - their excitement is CONTAGIOUS! This excitement makes being an educator so rewarding!. My husband and I met at ACU, and we have two amazing daughters! Our oldest daughter is a teacher in McKinney, and our youngest daughter is an Occupational Therapy graduate student. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, read, and watch HGTV! :-) Let's Make This A GREAT YEAR! Go Dooley Dragons!!!
