1st Grade Teacher

I'm Vi Figueroa, and this is my 9th year as a teacher. I'm a PISD alumni and I was so excited to come back to the district as an educator. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, read, and play Tetris. I believe in cultivating a love of learning in a space that is safe and welcoming, and I love the Dooley community!

8:00-9:35 Homeroom (Period 1 - I will have my class at this time.) 

9:35-10:25: AMPed

10:25-11:45 Period 2 (I will have Mrs. Stanford's class at this time.) 

11:45-12:15 Recess 

12:15-12:45 Lunch

12:45-1:10 Period 2 Continued

1:10-2:50: Period 3 (I will have Ms. Schick's class at this time.) 

2:50-3:00: Pack Up/Dismissal

  • Dreambox log-in: go through Webdesk 
    • Use Dreambox to extend math learning outside of school. 
  • Google Classroom 
    • Navigate to the Google Classroom app on Webdesk or go to classroom.google.com 
    • E-mail address is the school log-in@mypisd.net (ex. john.doe.1@mypisd.net) 
    • Password is the same as the school network password (Dooley.###### with your child's student ID where the number signs are) 
      • If this password does not work, reach out to Mr. B at jorge.bocarando@pisd.edu to get it reset.
      • You can also use your child's QR code to log in. They have one on their take home folder, but you can email me for another one!
